Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

TRP-21 – Teoría en Relación Proyectual is an open-access scientific journal oriented toward research and critical reflection on the impact of digital technologies on design, architecture, art, and contemporary project-based practices. The journal adopts an interdisciplinary and experimental approach, with particular attention to emerging processes, advanced project methodologies, and digital systems applied to knowledge production.

TRP-21 publishes original academic articles that fall within the scope of the journal and provide relevant theoretical, methodological, or project-based reflections on digital systems, computational models, material culture, and contemporary processes of transformation.

Submission and Acceptance of Manuscripts

The journal accepts original works written in Spanish or English that have not been previously published and are not under evaluation by other journals.

All submissions are initially reviewed by the editorial team to assess their relevance to the objectives, focus, and scope of TRP-21. Manuscripts that pass this preliminary review are then subjected to a double peer-review process under a blind review modality.

As a result of the evaluation process, authors may receive a concise report summarizing the reviewers’ observations, highlighting the strengths of the manuscript and, where applicable, indicating the corrections or modifications required for acceptance.

The editorial team will communicate the final decision (acceptance, acceptance with revisions, or rejection) within a maximum period of three months from the receipt of the manuscript.

The editorial team reserves the right to reject submissions that do not meet minimum standards of academic quality, argumentative clarity, methodological rigor, or coherence with the journal’s editorial line.

Prior to submission, authors are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions to reproduce any material included in the manuscript (images, graphics, tables, or other copyrighted content). All authors identified in the submission must have given their consent to be listed as such. When applicable, the research must have been approved by the appropriate ethics committee or equivalent body, in accordance with the regulations in force in the country where the study was conducted.

Formatting Guidelines

Manuscripts must be submitted in Word format (.docx), using exclusively the official TRP-21 template.
