Author Biography

Marcelo Fraile-Narváez, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos

Marcelo Fraile holds a PhD in Architecture and is a Tenured Professor at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. His teaching and research focus on contemporary architectural theory and design practice, with particular emphasis on digital systems, morphogenesis, bio-inspired processes, and the relationship between architecture, technology, and algorithmic design.

He is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Theory in Projectual Relationship (TRP21), which promotes critical inquiry into inherited project paradigms and the disciplinary transformations driven by digital culture. He has published in international peer-reviewed journals and is actively involved in research and teaching innovation projects related to computational design and advanced representation.
