This project focuses on the application of service design and communication design in the tourism sector. After an exploratory trip to Dibulla, conducted in collaboration with the Fundación Iguaraya, a foundation that leads various projects related to culture, education, and the economy in La Guajira, their tourism project in Dibulla was contextualized. This project offers multiple tourist routes centered around cultural and economic activities indigenous to the region.
In this work, the services were analyzed and schematized using service design approaches and tools, employing matrices based on a combination of different "Blueprint" or "Service Map" frameworks, as referred to throughout the project. Although eight of the available tourist routes in Dibulla were examined, the study primarily focused on the "Saberes y Sabores" route, encompassing a city tour and a gastronomic experience. This route was chosen as the main case study and received detailed attention throughout the project.
